Pete De La Torre “South Florida’s Business Development Partner” is a Bilingual Business Development & Leadership Specialist, Motivational Speaker and Award-Winning Business Talk Show Host. He attended Miami-Dade College and Florida International University in Miami. He is a graduate of the Hispanic Leadership Academy at The University of Chicago Booth Business School and has a Lean Six Sigma (Performance Improvement Method) Yellow Belt Certification.
Pete has served The South Florida Business Market for over 35 years in different capacities. representing key sectors such as: International Business, Economic Development, Financial Services, Corporate Training and Media. His key objective and purpose is to, Inform and Inspire his clients to experience significant success in their business while enhancing their lives.
Community involvement has and continues to be especially important for Mr. De La Torre. He has held key positions with several non-profit and business organizations in South Florida which include the following groups: Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, American Heart Association, A Safe Haven for Newborns, Suniland Optimist, The International MBA Advisory Board of Florida International University, The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Chamber South and an Executive Board Member with The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
Among his recent awards and recognitions, his talk show is proud to be the recipient of “The 2015 & 2016 SBA Small Business Media Advocate of the year” for South Florida and The State of Florida. This award is given by The Small Business Administration “SBA”, a nationwide government entity geared to promote and support small business all over the United States.

On July 7 th , 2021, I was re-born. This was the day I had surgery to remove an aggressive cancer in my prostate. Thank God The operation was a total success. I am thrilled to share the news that today I am 100% cancer free. This life-changing event opened my eyes for the very first time in my life.
My outlook and perspective have been transformed. Everything I’ve always wanted for my life was now possible. God gifted me with a new set of keys to drive forward into a new and exciting horizon. All of this would be possible with a caveat, I was instructed to share what I learned from this experience to inspire others to apply these insights and lessons for themselves.
After much consideration, I decided that the best way for me to share my story was to write this book. I took time to do a lot of soul searching and praying to define what the topic and content needed to be. My marching orders were to deliver a ruthlessly honest message to the readers about my challenge, my awakening and how I changed my life.
